Review of the IPM 2025 in Essen
The time had finally come again! From January 28 to 31, we were able to present ourselves as green solutions together with LIDIS at the world's leading trade fair for horticulture. Our stand 7E22 in hall 7 was the central meeting point for trade visitors, customers and interested parties who wanted to take a look at our latest innovations.
For green solutions visitors, the main focus was on the AI-based new developments and the preview of the technically modernized template generation Cloud Software 4. At LIDIS, current trend topics such as self-checkout tills, e-invoices and the preview of the new LIDIS app were at the top of the priority list.

Our AI-based plant recognizer revolutionizes plant identification: plants are recognized in seconds with a photo. Plant diseases can be diagnosed in seconds with our AI-supported plant disease detector. A simple photo is enough to obtain a precise analysis. In addition, the tool provides detailed explanations of diseases, their causes and control options. Fully integrated into our customer loyalty app, it not only makes everyday work easier, but also takes garden center advice to a whole new level.
AI-supported chatbot

New template generation Cloud Software 4
Our latest cloud software sets standards: with an optimized mobile-first approach, it guarantees the best user-friendliness and improved visibility in search engines. Shorter loading times and compatibility with the European Accessibility Act 2025 ensure barrier-free use. Thanks to the API-first approach, the software can be flexibly extended and enables customized functions. The new LIDIS app combines all functions in a single, intuitive interface. With a completely new development and a modern tech stack, it offers maximum performance and user-friendliness. Particularly practical: label printing directly at the POS. The app simplifies processes and ensures more efficient workflows in retail. With this innovation, LIDIS is setting new standards for merchandise management systems and strengthening the digitalization of the industry.
The feedback from our customers at IPM 2025 was consistently positive. Particular emphasis was placed on how green solutions and LIDIS are setting new standards in horticulture with their innovations. The tools presented were rated as practical and extremely helpful, as they make daily work processes noticeably easier and at the same time offer future-oriented solutions..
